Pinckney Art in the Park, Pinckney,MI
Artsweek Golden, Golden, CO
GeekCraft, St Louis, MO
Levis Commons Fine Arts Festival, Perrysburg, OH
River Clay Arts, Decatur, AL

First Fridays at the StL Science Center when I can
Holiday Market at Rolling Ridge Nursery, Webster Groves, MO

Who knew badges were so cool? They are showing up all over the place this fall! Overload your backpack and jeans with our affordable versions. Request a custom patch with your name or some other favorite.
Here at WaggonsWest, we strongly believe that a badge in hand is worth more than two badges on a wish list. We do everything we can to keep costs down and to make custom badges and patches accessible to everyone. Please do inquire if you want multiple badges or to place a bulk order. We may be able to make some adjustments for you.
Plushies!

You've seen them at the shows no they are starting to show up here in the shop. Monsters, Chickens and other assorted Plushies! These are SMALL in size. They are pocket friends or office pals not giant toys. Check the measurements in the listings.

And More!
Look for a variety of goods from Fairy Tale pillows to lace earrings to magic bags. You may even find a small quilt or two as you scroll through the offerings on the Waggon.

My story, the short version...
I am a recovering academic who currently works for a grassroots environmental organization on issues and projects relating to clean water. In my spare time, I make fiber art, primarily upcycled badges and plushies. As much as possible I use from scraps and remnants and repurposed fabics. I make things that make me laugh. I started making traveling chickens when my kids were younger. They could 'travel' into your brother's face without making mom crazy. Lately they have begun traveling the world with people posting photos using #travelingchickenandmonstershow. From there I started making other creatures, each with their own attitude and story and the crazy has grown. I work at home using a single needle embroidery machine. My husband works with me cutting denim and making the badges I design on his own machine in his man cave. While I work with some licensed patterns most of my plushies and badges are original designs that I have drawn, digitized and sewn.
